A present for street-children
Since the end of the war, living conditions are precarious for the majority of the population. Minorities such as the Roms and refugees are particularly affected.
Many parents force their children to beg on the streets. Street children are often affected by child abuse and economic exploitation.
A great number of families are even unable to provide shelter for their children and thus many are condemned to live on the streets. Our partner organisation "Zemlja Djece", in Tuzla, aims to get these children off the streets, to assure the provision of their basic needs and, in collaboration with their families, facilitate their social reintegration and brighten their futures through the provision of education.
