Institutional Fundraising Officer (50%)
We are an international cooperation organization committed to the rights of women and girls and to preventing and combating gender-based violence. In collaboration with local partner organizations, we implement projects in West Africa and the Western Balkans.
In addition to our headquarters in Basel, IAMANEH Suisse has an office in Geneva. To strengthen our activities in French-speaking Switzerland, we are looking for a committed, experienced, and persuasive person who will be responsible for institutional fundraising and will contribute to the development of our major donors program.
The position is based in Basel and involves regular travel to Geneva. The start date is early September or by agreement.
Your profile:
- You have professional experience in fundraising and development cooperation, along with excellent knowledge of the philanthropic network in French-speaking Switzerland.
- You show initiative and work autonomously.
- You wish to commit yourself on a long-term basis.
- You hold a degree/qualification in a field relevant to the position.
- You have excellent command of French (ideally as your native language) and good knowledge of German and English.
- You have a strong interest in gender equality issues and the rights of women and girls.
Your responsibilities include:
- Implementing and overseeing all fundraising activities in the area of institutional partnerships (foundations, public sector, businesses) in French-speaking Switzerland
- Developing funding applications and regular reports for our institutional partners
- Organizing and managing events and presentations for institutional partners
- Developing the major donors program in French-speaking Switzerland, in coordination with activities in German-speaking Switzerland
- Supporting the identification of international funding opportunities
