Film: In the high-pressure world of a sports boarding school, young boxer Camille’s life is thrown off balance after an accident. Although he has physically recovered, he increasingly struggles with pain, self-doubt, and the pressure to live up to the expectations of those around him. The film sensitively explores themes such as vulnerability, mental health, friendship, and the question of what masculinity means in a world that leaves little room for weakness.
Discussion: Together with an expert from the Men’s Office in Basel, we will discuss alternative values that can represent “masculinity,” such as emotional expression, friendship, mindfulness, and caring. The discussion will provide an opportunity for questions and the sharing of personal experiences.
Moderator: Annina Haab
