Since 2015, IAMANEH Switzerland has hosted the annual FRAUENSTARK! film festival — a space for dialogue, reflection, and feminist solidarity.
The festival screens a selection of feature and documentary films that place the lived realities of women from around the world at the centre. Politically relevant, unconventional, and with real potential for debate: FRAUENSTARK! brings together audiences, professionals, and activists — for dialogue, reflection, and feminist solidarity.
Every screening is accompanied by a moderated discussion. School screenings for young people from the cantons of Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft are free of charge and are aimed at upper secondary, vocational, and high schools.
